ThreeBond Co., Ltd. has launched the cultural support project, “Creator’s Bonding by ThreeBond 2012” with the aim of bonding and linking creators, people, companies, and cultures all over the world. As part of this project, we have supported the activities of Mr. Yasushi Matsumoto, a creator. He exhibited his work, “SOTTOSOPRA – Fusion of interior and image in the dim light,” at the world’s largest design festival, Milano Salone, which was held in Milan, Italy from April 17 to 22.Mr. Matsumoto’s work, which uses the camera obscura to express interior space with an innovative technique, was highly praised by designers and artists from all over the world. He received several inquiries from art galleries that wanted to handle his work, as well as some offers to exhibit it at art festivals. In reflection of his wishes, it will be donated to Reggio Children, a large children’s facility in Reggio Emilia, northern Italy, and exhibited there permanently. Reggio Emilia is famous for its “Reggio Emilia approach,” which focuses on and allocates a large amount of the city budget to early childhood education.
