ThreeBond 1324 is an anaerobic resin, with medium strength, mainly used for threadlocking applications. Anaerobic adhesives cure at room temperature in the absence of air and in contact with active metal surfaces. Once cured, TB1324 fills the gaps between threaded metal components, preventing loosening caused by vibration while also providing effective sealing against leaks, moisture and corrosion.

Thanks to its red colour and medium-strength performance, TB1324 is ideal for securing studs, bolts, nuts and bearings while still allowing occasional disassembly using standard hand tools when maintenance is required.

01. Properties
Anaerobic threadlocking resins provide a more reliable alternative to conventional mechanical locking devices. They polymerise in the absence of air between metal surfaces, filling the microscopic clearances between threads to distribute stresses more evenly, prevent vibrational loosening, eliminate fretting corrosion and provide effective sealing against fluids and contaminants.
