• Expansion and control joints in mortar and concrete : concrete and mortar structures expand and contract due to temperature fluctuations, moisture variation, and shrinkage during curing. To accommodate this movement and prevent uncontrolled cracking, expansion joints (for thermal movement) and control joints (to guide cracking) are introduced.
• Bonding and sealing of concrete blocks and U-shaped gutters : concrete blocks and precast U-shaped gutters (used in drainage and water channeling) often require both mechanical bonding and watertight sealing between units to maintain structural integrity and fluid containment.
• Sealing around metal-framed glass windows and sliding doors : in architectural glazing systems, metal frames (typically aluminum or steel) are joined with glass panes. These assemblies must be sealed to prevent air, water, and dust ingress, while also accommodating thermal expansion differences between metal and glass.
• Watertight sealing of pools, water tanks, sinks, and other wet-area fixtures : in water-retaining structures, sealing joints and interfaces is crucial to prevent leakage, infiltration, and mold growth. These installations often experience constant moisture, pressure, and chemical exposure (e.g., chlorine or cleaning agents).
