UV Curing olefin resin

05/05/2025

ThreeBond 3175 product

ThreeBond 3175 is a solvent-free, UV-curable, olefin-based bonding and sealing resin. The product is part of a new generation of materials developed to meet the growing performance, environmental and safety requirements of the energy sector, particularly hydrogen.

One of its key advantages is its controlled permeability to hydrogen, a property sought in certain designs of components for fuel cells and hydrogen storage or transport systems.

Features

  • Excellent curing properties with UV & Visible light
  • Suitable for screen printing
  • Biomass raw materials are used as part of the raw materials.
  • Having excellent defoaming properties and low viscosity and suitable for screen printing
  • Olefin-based resin with excellent heat resistance, water resistance, acid resistance and low moisture permeability
  • Excellent for electric and electronic parts bonding and potting, as well as fuel cell applications and hydrogen sealing.

01.

Ideal for sealing fuel cells

It is ideal as an electrolyte membrane sealant for fuel cells due to its high-level gas barrier properties and acid resistance.

02.

Screen printing is possible

Excellent anti-foaming properties and low viscosity make screen printing possible

03.

Curing takes place in a short amount of time by means of light irradiation

Fast curing by means of light irradiation in the ultraviolet to visible light region (365-405 nm) is possible.
