When we think about manufacturing, we often picture large production lines, complex machinery and thousands of components moving from one process to another. However, sometimes, something as small as a bolt can play an important role in the reliability of the final product. Behind that bolt, there may be a coating, adhesive or sealant carefully selected to meet the requirements of a specific production process.

At ThreeBond, we believe that supporting these applications starts with being close to where they happen. That is why our global network is not only made up of sales offices and technical teams. We also have manufacturing plants located close to our main markets and production sites.

01. A global network built around local production

ThreeBond operates through a worldwide network of companies, offices and manufacturing facilities.

Our plants are strategically located near our main headquarters and markets, allowing us to combine the resources of a global group with the responsiveness of a local partner.

This geographical proximity is particularly important for industrial customers.

Manufacturing processes can vary significantly from one site to another, even when the same type of component is being produced. Local regulations, equipment, environmental conditions, production volumes and application methods can all influence the requirements for a product. In Europe, our manufacturing plant is located in the heart of Europe, in Hungary, enabling us to deliver every countries in that geographic zone.

Being close to our customers allows our teams to better understand these specific conditions and work alongside them to identify the most appropriate solution.

02. Small components meeting production lines

A coating applied to a bolt may look like a very small part of a manufacturing process.

But once thousands of components are being assembled, consistency becomes critical. The products and processes must follow strict regulations and applications, must remain stable and reliable depending on the environment or application. Each component must also follow European legislation and CRM regulations to be able to be fully usable. This is where proximity can make a real difference in development and supply chain.

Our teams can work directly with customers to understand how a product is being applied, what conditions it needs to withstand and what challenges may arise during production. From product selection and laboratory testing to trials on the production line, technical support does not stop when the product leaves the factory.

This is why some of our adhesives and sealants, as well as pre-coat application on bolts and screws are mainly done in Hungary, even though we still import some of our products from our Japanese plants.

04. Made to order : the development step by step

Every production line has its own requirements, as well as our products does. Application method, viscosity, curing conditions, and so on can sometimes meet already existing properties of our own products, but sometimes, we might be missing opportunities due to some criteria not matching.

This is where the location can play a big role in our made to order mindset. By having our laboratories and manufacturing located in the same geographical zones, it enhances our disponibilities to suit the perfect product for your application, through tests, analysis and your personal requirements.

Every solution begins with a production requirement, thus human contact and follow-up. We believe that by supporting our clients through the first steps of development can lead to a better management of process, resources, and needs : to match your application, and adapt ourselves – whenever possible – to your requirements.
